Associate Financial Specialist

We're looking for a finance-driven analyst who can build and scale how financial data is structured, analyzed, and delivered. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, data, and systems - focused on transforming large-scale ERP and general ledger data into clean, automated, and presentation-ready outputs.
You will design and build repeatable reporting solutions, leveraging tools like Excel, Power Query, SQL, and AI to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Financial Specialists to join our IT Controlling Finance team in the US. You will have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our IT organization.
Responsibilities
  • Extract, transform, and manage large-scale financial data from ERP systems.
  • Build structured datasets from raw general ledger and subledger data.
  • Design and maintain scalable Excel-Based reporting solutions.
  • Develop centralized data models that feed multiple reporting outputs.
  • Create automated, multi-tab excel workbooks with a single source of truth.
  • Translate financial data into executive-ready outputs (Excel, Power Point and Power BI).
  • Leverage tools such as Power Query, SQL, and AI to streamline workflows.
  • Improve and automate recurring reporting processes.
  • Partner with dynamic high performing global finance team to ensure data accuracy and alignment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 1-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or finance data roles.
  • Power Query (required).
  • SQL (querying, joins, transformations).
  • Familiar with automation tools (Power Automate, scripting, etc..)
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Building structured, scalable workbooks.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience extracting and working with ERP data.
  • Proven ability to clean, structure and transform raw financial data.
  • Strong data mindset (automation-focused).

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Princeton location.
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $73,000- $107,000plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
