Our organization operates Lovelace Medical Center, an acute care facility with 263 licensed beds. We offer a wide range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, surgical procedures, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke treatment, radiology, and oncology services.

Learn About a Day in the Life of a Med-Surg RN:Responsibilities:
  • The Registered Nurse is accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, which includes patient care and the management of staff assigned to their care.
  • May take on the responsibilities of Charge Nurse and is accountable for maintaining professional standards.
  • Follows established policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and safeguard patient safety.
Qualifications:Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma.
  • Current NM Nursing license or NM compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role, prior to delivering direct patient care.
  • Department may also require ACLS and/or PALS certifications.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Two years of experience in a specialty area.
  • Two years of general nursing experience.
