We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Financial Services Representative at our San Jose Branch.
As a Financial Services Representative, your major responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure fulfillment of members' financial needs through discussions of financial wellness.
  • Assist member with all transactions, including opening memberships, accounts and loans.
  • Assist members with online banking inquiries.
  • Interview and process member's loans. Effectively cross sell payment protection products.
  • Performa outreach activities as part of the credit union's new member onboarding process.
  • Consistently provide exceptional member service through financial wellness discussions and support to internal and external members.
This position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Individuals in this position must satisfy all of the requirements under the category of Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) and satisfactorily complete and supply all of the required information. Additionally, individuals in this position must satisfy all requirements to become an endorsee of the Credit Union’s State of California’s Credit Insurance Business Entity License. These requirements remain a condition of employment in this position.
Our ideal candidate will have at least six months to two years of similar or related experience and previous experience with processing loans. Exceptional customer service skills are required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. A professional appearance and demeanor are required. Prior experience working in a credit union or bank strongly preferred.
Pay Range: $27.25/hour - $34.05/hour; based on skills and experience.
