Job description

Am Law top 50 firm which is consistently ranked among the leading law firms is looking for an associate to join their Debt Finance practice.


The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years of finance experience at a comparable law firm.


Ideal candidates will have experience in:

  • Secured transactions representing borrowers and/or lenders
  • A working knowledge of syndicated financing transactions, financing transactions for venture-backed companies, acquisition financing transactions, and convertible or high yield bond offerings
  • Experience in closing transactions
  • Familiarity with drafting documents in connection with financial transactions.


Knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, secured transactions, debt securities offerings, and general corporate law are also preferred. All candidates must have a JD or the equivalent and have demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have a high level of attention to detail.
