Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance Associate with 6+ years of experience to join its Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice.

The ideal candidate will have experience advising financial institutions and other financial services clients on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters, particularly involving banks, money services businesses (MSBs), payment systems, and FinTech companies.

Qualifications:

  • minimum 6 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Experience with licensing and chartering of financial institutions and related entities.
  • Strong knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations, including:
    • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
    • OFAC sanctions compliance
    • Third-party risk management
    • Consumer financial services compliance
  • Experience with regulatory investigations or enforcement matters is a plus.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage sophisticated regulatory matters.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Admission to, or eligibility for admission in, the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
