Ourย Client in Westchester County NY is experiencing growth and looking to add an Associate Finance Manager to the growing team.ย 

Job Description

The Associate Finance Manager is the dedicated financial resource for his/her respective development projects and provides value-add analysis for relevant stakeholders including Senior Management, Project Direction/Program Management, Development teams, and external collaborators. He/she has command of all aspects of projects and can readily identify and update assumptions incorporated in forecasts/budgets to reflect the latest information on projects. He/she uses a repertoire of financial analyses to support decision making and to validate that programs budgets input by operation teams are based on "realistic" assumptions.

Responsibilities:

-Support the preparation of the annual operating plan and long range forecast for assigned programs

-Financial Reporting and Analysis for programs including monthly actuals reporting, quarterly forecast analysis and deck preparation

-Provide insightful analysis of business results to senior management and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving and sound business recommendations

-Work with cross-functional teams to manage and communicate P&L and Balance Sheet expectations

-Close activities include working closely with the Accounting group to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries


Qualifications

Requirements:

4-6 years of experience with forecasting, budgeting and/or business partnering ideally in a science or research driven environment

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes

Bachelors degree in a scientific or quantitative field; top tier MBA a significant plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in Excel. Experience with Pivot tables and/or Hyperion a plus.

$95K-120K Range + Bonus and Excellent Benefits package
