About the Role:

The Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain or production process. This position is responsible for monitoring order progress, coordinating between suppliers, production teams, and logistics to prevent delays and bottlenecks. The Expeditor actively tracks shipments, resolves issues related to delivery schedules, and communicates updates to relevant stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency. By proactively identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions, the Expeditor helps maintain production timelines and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role supports the organization’s ability to meet deadlines, reduce costs, and optimize inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a supply chain, logistics, or production support role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or supply chain management software.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track the status of orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to expedite orders and resolve delays.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams and logistics to align schedules and priorities.
