The Onsite Event Specialist serves as the primary point of contact during events, ensuring smooth onsite execution and exceptional service delivery. This role involves managing all event logistics, coordinating with service partners, and acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams. You'll provide consultative support, resolve issues quickly, and maintain clear communication to deliver outstanding event experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary onsite contact for events, coordinating with catering, AV, security, and transportation partners.

  • Provide day-of-event support, including being on-call or onsite, running product demos, and capturing event documentation (surveys, photos).

  • Conduct staff meetings, event space walkthroughs, and briefings as needed.

  • Manage onsite logistics for registration, rooms, hospitality desk, food & beverage, activities, business meetings, technology, and VIP handling.

  • Implement crisis management procedures and ensure communication plans are in place.

  • Serve as liaison to clients for onsite event logistics and keep all stakeholders informed of changes.

  • Collaborate with teams to define solutions and ensure the best event experience for clients and guests.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in meeting/event management or a related industry.

  • Ability to learn new technology solutions and work with multiple systems.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office tools with the ability to learn new technology quickly.

  • Ability to thrive in an agile, continuously changing environment.

  • Physical ability to handle onsite demands, including standing and lifting.

Nice To Have

  • Prior experience in high-touch client or VIP event management.

Working Logistics & Things You Should Know

  • This is an Onsite role, locations available: Atlanta, GA

  • This role will require 25% travel supporting other onsite client locations.

  • Hours are typically Monday - Friday, standard EST business hours, with flexibility for events as needed

  • Travel requirements: Minimal (as needed for events)

  • The total compensation range for this position is $55,000-$60,000, determined based on experience and qualifications. Compensation for internal candidates will be reviewed in accordance with our internal compensation practices
