Job description

The Engineering Associate will provide temporary departmental support during system modernization, technology implementation, and other departmental projects. The position will assist with data management, documentation, project coordination, and administrative tasks within the department. The position is expected to be part-time and temporary, with continuation dependent upon departmental needs.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and gain practical engineering experience
  • Must maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Periods of standing, bending, stretching, and walking.
  • Frequent periods of desk and computer work.
  • Work completed inside office facility and outside in the general service territory.
  • Field work with exposure to adverse elements of weather.
  • Part-time temporary position. Schedule is anticipated to be approximately 20 hours per week, generally 2-3 days per week. Duration of employment will be based on project and departmental needs.
