Job description

Join Enpro as a Product Test Technician and play a critical role in supporting product development, validation, and continuous improvement efforts. Through hands-on testing and accurate data collection, you will help ensure STEMCO products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance for our customers.

This position is responsible for setting up, conducting, documenting, and reporting product performance testing. Working closely with Test Engineers and Product Engineers, the Product Test Technician ensures testing is completed according to established requirements and that accurate, reliable data is collected to support engineering and product development decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and tear down product performance tests and testing equipment.

• Install, operate, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation used to monitor and record test conditions and product performance.

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on test laboratory equipment and machinery.

• Utilize test control systems and data acquisition software to collect, validate, and report testing results.

• Verify the accuracy and integrity of test data prior to reporting results.

• Assist engineers with the specification and design of test equipment and instrumentation.

• Support the development, review, and execution of test procedures.

• Maintain organized testing records and documentation.

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to support product development and validation initiatives.

• Promote a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in a technology-related field.

• Experience using pressure transducers, thermocouples, voltmeters, and other measurement equipment.

• Experience working with or around 480-volt electrical systems.

• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and testing instrumentation.
