Responsible for organizational change and continuous improvement for manufacturing and distribution departments. Responsible for supporting area managers in their mission to produce and distribute consistently higher quality products, with shorter lead times, at reduced costs for the ultimate goal of increased customer satisfaction and company profit

Will review and revise if needed the current processes and equipment to ensure that optimal methods for producing and distributing products are achieved.
General Duties:
Develops and leads project work across multiple disciplines and multiple plant locations;
Responsible for the conception, development, justification and implementation of manufacturing and distribution processes;
Interacts and engages with all facility engineers and shop floor personnel in order to monitor and manage operational processes;
Responsible for defining, planning and executing continuous improvement projects by leveraging project management skills, shop floor experience and creative problem-solving skills;
Leads activities to improve production and equipment capabilities through application of lean manufacturing principles;
Reviews new technologies to ensure optimal processes are achieved and maintained;
Will work in a fast-paced environment with high profile exposure and engagement with local and corporate leadership;
Travel requirements are 5% to 10% in order to facilitate cross functional site initiatives;
Must be able to manage multiple initiatives and communicate progress to engineering leadership and shop floor stake holders;
Work Environment:
Office environment 60% of the time to manage ongoing projects and assignments;
Shop floor environment 40% of the time to review and implement projects;
