Parts Associate - 1st Shift
Full-Time
The primary focus of the Parts Associate position is parts delivery to support our shops, technicians, customers, and day-to-day operations. When not making deliveries, the Parts Associate will work within the MTE Parts Department assisting with inventory, ordering, stocking, and other department needs.
This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable driving regularly, and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep parts moving and operations running efficiently.
In this role, you will:
  • Deliver parts to company locations, technicians, vendors, and customers as needed.
  • Pick up parts and supplies from vendors and other locations.
  • Assist with sourcing limited or hard-to-find parts.
  • Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system.
  • Create purchase orders for parts needed for stock, customers, or work orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish or purge stock based on usage.
  • Receive, organize, and stock incoming parts.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, customers, technicians, and fellow employees.
  • Help keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient.
  • Assist with other Parts Department duties as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting wage: $14-$15 per hour

Requirements
What you will need:
  • 1+ years of applicable experience.
  • Organization skills.
  • Understanding of business management software and ability to use Windows based programs.
  • Acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and regularly reach merchandise.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time.
  • Understanding of fork truck operations.
