TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electronics Assembly Technician
The Electronics Assembly Technician position is responsible for build kit disbursement, component health verification, performing assembly processes of Electro-Mechanical Assemblies, Automotive Sensors and Wiring Harnesses following engineering drawings, assembly drawings, wire lists, schematics, and written process documents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt to a constantly changing fast-paced work environment while meeting production schedules.
  • Perform testing and inspection of Fuel Injectors, Electric Motor Assemblies, Wiring Harnesses, Automotive Sensors, and Electro-Mechanical assemblies using bespoke test equipment.
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework - some test and repair of various electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
  • Read and comprehend assembly drawings, wire lists, and written processes.
  • Update electronic build books with component information. Including and not limited to, parts issuance to proper work orders, maintenance, and delivery records. Confirmation of parts mileages and matching to mileage limits for each build/spec.

Qualifications:
The candidate will have:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Soldering Certification such as J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610.
  • Technical School or Vocational School training in basic electronics or equivalent job experience.
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Must have the patience and diligence to achieve the best results possible.
  • Must be initiative-taking and able to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Including strong listening skills; open-mindedness; team working and language skills necessary to facilitate effective cooperation between Associate and departments.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Taking ownership of attention to detail in both hands-on assembly work and documentation.
  • Knowledge of electronic acceptability standards such as IPC-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or equivalent military standards.
  • Soldering skills including thru-hole and surface mount.
  • Experience with motorsport wire harness assembly and harnessing components
  • Knowledge of Mil-Spec connectors and associated tooling.
  • Testing, diagnosis, and troubleshooting skills.

Physical requirements listed below but not limited to:
  • Standing-Frequent/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day
  • Walking-Occasionally/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day
  • Sitting- Occasionally/Intermittent
  • Lifting- Up to 25 lbs. Occasionally/Intermittent
The annual base salary range for this position is $63,100.00 - $102,600.00.
