Job description

Adecco Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing company in Littleton, MA to hire an experienced Manufacturing/Engineering Technician on a temp-to-hire basis. We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate with experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, blueprint reading, and the use of hand tools and measuring instruments to support production and engineering operations.

Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday – Friday
Pay: $31.00 – $34.00/hour, depending on experience

Job Duties:

  • Build and test transducers and other electromechanical assemblies using verbal and written work instructions.

  • Assemble and test electrical components, prototypes, and production systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documentation.

  • Work closely with Engineering to develop and improve assembly processes, test plans, fixtures, and wiring harnesses.

  • Perform mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and basic soldering as required.

  • Mix, dispense, and apply adhesives, epoxies, potting materials, and cleaning solvents.

  • Use hand tools and measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to fabricate and inspect components.

  • Record test results and production data for Engineering review.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assist with troubleshooting production equipment.

  • Support product rework and repair activities as directed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Physics is a plus.

  • Previous experience in electromechanical, mechanical, or electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and written work instructions.

  • Experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.

  • Basic soldering experience required.

  • Experience with electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and basic machining.

  • Knowledge of adhesives, epoxies, and potting materials preferred.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with Engineering and production teams.

Pay Details: $31.00 to $34.00 per hour
