Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group has an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine - Clinician Educator to join the faculty of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Saint Mary's Hospital located in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Internal Medicine Clinician Educator Opportunity -Trinity Health of New England Medical Group,

Residency Program at Saint Marys Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut.

The Saint Marys Residency Program is affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine.

The Clinician Educator will have responsibilities in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Duties include:

  • Clinical supervision
  • Teaching residents and medical students
  • Curriculum development
  • Give noon conferences and grand rounds lectures
  • Engage in research and program administration activities

The balance of clinical and academic work encourages further growth and development of our faculty members and supports the achievement of their personal career goals.

The selected candidate will:

  • Be Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Have interest in academic medicine with teaching and leadership experience (preferred)
  • Enjoy academic appointments at Yale School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, with opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and academic advancement. Faculty members can also attain appointments at the associate professor level if they fulfill the criteria
