Job description

An associate DVM that has 1-3 years of prior experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, have the ability to provide a flexible work schedule, and the availability to start as soon as possible. Job Duties are as followed:

  • Advises animal owners on general care, feeding, sanitary measures, medical conditions and treatment options.
  • Examines animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
  • Collects body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.
  • Treats sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
  • Monitors pre- and post-operative care.
  • Euthanizes animals.
  • Attend lectures, conferences, or continuing education courses.
