In 1996, Delta Animal Hospital was established to serve the animals and people of Baldwin County. Our mission is simple – provide outstanding veterinary care and excellent customer service.

Our veterinarians have established a consistent program of procedures and techniques proven to be the most effective in keeping pets healthy. In addition to providing preventive care with a full range of vaccines and parasite medication, Delta Animal Hospital has a state-of-the-art laboratory, radiology, and surgical equipment to diagnose and treat all our patients.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
  • Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
  • Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Alabama veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
