VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

JOB TITLE: Practice Manager, Sexual and Reproductive Health Services

LOCATION: New Bedford Sexual & Reproductive Health Services

HOURS: Full time, some evenings required

SALARY: $85,000

BENEFITS: Medical, dental, holiday, paid earned leave, 403b, etc.

OVERVIEW: Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services, the Practice Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the practice including:

  • Ensuring provision of client-centered, non-judgmental SRH services
  • Hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation of all non-clinical personnel
  • Increase access to our services for people who have the greatest barriers to achieving good health, safety, and economic security
  • Overseeing continuous quality improvement activities
  • Providing direct care and support for clinical operations
  • Ensuring compliance with practice policies and procedures
  • Manage laboratory compliance including laboratory controls, proficiency, testing, and equipment calibration and verification requirements
  • Overseeing, prioritizing, and delegating staff workload
  • Overseeing inventory of medications and supplies
  • Running daily financial/visit reports
  • Implement systems to improve service delivery
  • Participating in management meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Reproductive Health

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in health care administration or at least 2 years as a Medical Practice Manager building cohesive and high performing teams. A commitment to and passion for Health Imperatives' mission and values. Ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet program needs including some evenings and/or occasional weekends. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations. Demonstrated work in a collaborative, team environment. Valid driver's license, registration, and safe driving record.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual; Prior medical assistant experience and certificate. Bachelor's or master's degree in health care administration, public health or health information management. Experience working with eCW electronic medical record system.
