Role Overview

The Director, Program Management and Delivery is accountable for the successful delivery of enterprise programs and complex, cross‑functional initiatives across the Americas. The role establishes and leads standardized program management and delivery capabilities to ensure initiatives are executed predictably, efficiently, and in alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and value objectives.

This role provides enterprise‑level oversight of program execution, integrating delivery governance, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and benefits realization alignment. The Director, Program Management and Delivery ensures that programs are delivered in accordance with enterprise portfolio priorities, financial guardrails, and change readiness constraints, while maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This role partners closely with Portfolio Governance, Finance, Change Management, and Functional Leadership to translate strategic intent into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes. This role manages a team of Enterprise Project and Change management professionals to ensure delivery consistency, discipline, and performance across Brother’s transformation landscape.

Duties & Responsibilities Enterprise Program Management & Delivery Oversight
  • Establish and lead Brother’s enterprise program management and delivery framework across strategic and transformational initiatives
  • Provide oversight for complex, multi-workstream programs to ensure alignment with approved scope, timelines, budgets, and value objectives
  • Ensure delivery practices are standardized, scalable, and aligned with portfolio and governance standards
  • Govern interdependencies across programs, initiatives, and operational work to reduce execution risk and delivery friction
  • Lead and integrate a multi-disciplinary delivery team encompassing Project Management and Change Management, ensuring cohesive execution and outcome alignment across programs
  • Provide people leadership, capability development, and performance oversight across project delivery, change execution, and continuous improvement disciplines, driving consistent standards and enterprise impact
  • Ensure tight coordination between project execution, change adoption, and process optimization to deliver sustainable business outcomes rather than one-time implementations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on delivery feasibility, trade-offs, and execution risk
  • Ensure consistent communication across regions and functions regarding delivery status and expectations
Delivery Governance & Controls
  • Define and enforce delivery governance standards, including status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and escalation protocols
  • Ensure all programs operate with clear delivery accountability, decision rights, and escalation paths
  • Partner with Portfolio Governance to ensure delivery execution aligns with approved sequencing, funding, and capacity constraints
  • Intervene when delivery performance deviates materially from approved baselines
  • Own enterprise-level visibility into delivery risks, issues, and cross-program dependencies
  • Proactively identify systemic delivery risks and recommend mitigation or corrective actions
  • Escalate material risks impacting timeline, cost, quality, or benefits realization to executive leadership
  • Ensure lessons learned are captured and incorporated into future delivery practices
  • Ensure programs are delivered with a clear line of sight to approved business outcomes and benefits
  • Partner with Change and Business Owners to ensure delivery milestones support adoption and value realization
  • Validate that program completion criteria include readiness for transition, sustainment, and operational ownership
  • Support post-implementation reviews to confirm delivery effectiveness and benefit realization
Program Planning, Road mapping, & Execution
  • Oversee the development of integrated program plans, roadmaps, and milestones that align strategy to execution
  • Ensure programs are structured with clear workstreams, milestones, success criteria, and measurable outcomes
  • Validate that delivery plans appropriately account for resource availability, regional considerations, and change impacts
  • Drive disciplined execution while enabling flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities
Financial & Executive Reporting
  • Partner with Finance and Portfolio Governance to ensure delivery execution aligns with approved budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor program-level financial performance, schedule adherence, and forecast accuracy
  • Support reforecasting, trade-off analysis, and recovery planning when delivery constraints emerge
  • Ensure transparency between delivery progress, financial consumption, and expected value realization
  • Provide clear, concise, and decision-oriented delivery reporting on enterprise programs and projects to executive leadership
  • Translate complex delivery data into actionable insights regarding progress, risk, and required decisions
Leadership, Capability & Continuous Improvement
  • Build and lead high-performing program management talent
  • Coach program leaders on execution discipline, stakeholder management, and enterprise delivery expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery tools, templates, and practices
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and outcome focused execution
Experience & Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) or MBA – Preferred
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience spanning the following areas:
    • Experience in program management, large-scale delivery leadership, or enterprise transformation execution
    • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization
    • Experience with delivery financials, risk management, and organizational change impacts
Licenses and Certifications
  • PMP – Project Management Professional
  • Six Sigma Green Belt – Preferred
Software/Technical Skills
  • Advanced Jira, Workfront, or other project management tools and software
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate Familiarity with enterprise delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) at a governance level – Preferred

Additional Details for This Role

This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by your manager.

Base Salary

The targeted base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $195,000 per year. Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data.

Additional Compensation

This position is eligible for a 30% bonus at 100% of target, with the opportunity to achieve above 100% dependent on company performance and in alignment with company bonus plans. Bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon individual performance as well as Brother achieving its corporate objectives, in accordance with the applicable bonus plan in effect.
