The Associate Director of Enrollment Management serves as a key partner to the Director of Enrollment Management, leading the operational execution of Bosque School’s enrollment strategy. This role oversees the full admissions cycle, ensuring a seamless, mission-aligned experience for prospective families from inquiry through enrollment. As a central member of the admissions team, the Associate Director blends strategic thinking, relationship-building, and operational leadership to help shape each incoming class and advance the school’s enrollment goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Admissions Operations amp; Applicant Journey Management
  • Operationalize the strategic goals and enrollment targets set by the Director of Enrollment Management (DEM) into a seamless, high-quality admissions cycle from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Manage the full admissions cycle from inquiry through enrollment, executing and optimizing the tactical processes, timelines, and touchpoints to ensure a seamless, mission-aligned experience for every family in partnership with the Assistant Director.
  • Monitor applicant progress and engagement trends, providing the DEM with data-driven recommendations for tactical adjustments to meet enrollment goals.
  • Manage the execution of the admissions communication calendar, including tone, timing, and automated triggers, ensuring all outreach is optimized for engagement and reflects the school’s brand.
  • Lead the application review process and admissions committee deliberations in close partnership with the DEM, ensuring all decisions align with established class-composition and overall enrollment goals.
  • Support and partner with DEM on strategic enrollment initiatives and planning.

Family Engagement amp; Strategic Presence
  • Serve as a visible and engaged admissions leader with prospective families at key points in the admissions process, including interviews, events, and decision-related conversations, as appropriate.
  • Support the Assistant Director in operationalizing the campus visit experience, serving as a secondary lead for tours and family visits to ensure the delivery of a high-touch, tailored journey that scales the DEM’s vision for every prospective student.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with feeder schools, community partners, and other stakeholders in support of long-term enrollment goals.
  • Exercise a high level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to admissions, enrollment, and financial aid.

Financial Aid Strategy amp; Committee Support
  • Serve as a primary resource for families navigating the financial aid process, delivering clear and consistent information regarding school policies and timelines.
  • Lead financial aid presentations and individual conversations that promote transparency, equity, and informed enrollment decisions.
  • Monitor financial aid engagement and inquiry trends to assist the DEM in evaluating the effectiveness of tuition assistance in meeting enrollment targets.
  • Serve as a member of the Financial Aid Committee, supporting the DEM in the review and awarding process to ensure all tuition assistance decisions align with the school’s enrollment goals, mission, and budget parameters.

Programming, Events amp; Ambassador Leadership
  • Lead the design and program flow of major admissions events (Open Houses, Information Sessions, Yield Programming), collaborating with the Operations Coordinator on logistical execution.
  • Oversee the recruitment and professional development of the admission ambassador program, designing the curriculum and coaching methods necessary to ensure they communicate the school’s value proposition authentically during tours and events.
  • Deliver compelling, mission-aligned presentations to diverse audiences in both formal and informal settings.

Departmental Integration amp; Operational Excellence
  • Partner with the Operations Coordinator to maintain the highest standards of data integrity within the CRM (FinalSite/Blackbaud/FACTS), providing the reliable data and oversight necessary to support the DEM’s predictive modeling and institutional reporting.
  • Represent the DEM at meetings, committees, or events as delegated, ensuring continuity of the department’s strategy and voice.
  • Support school-wide re-enrollment and retention efforts as directed by the DEM.
  • Maintain a deep connection to school life by observing classes and attending faculty meetings to ensure admissions messaging remains current and authentic.
  • Stay informed on independent school admissions trends and competitive landscape.
  • Represent Bosque School with clarity, consistency, and professionalism in high-impact or sensitive admissions interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in independent school or higher education enrollment preferred, specifically in roles emphasizing family engagement and data-informed recruitment strategies.
  • Experience serving as a resource for families navigating financial aid. Ability to lead financial aid presentations and individual conversations while supporting the committee in review and awarding processes through Clarity.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (FinalSite, Clarity, FACTS) and Student Information Systems (Blackbaud).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling, mission-aligned presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in designing major events and overseeing the recruitment and professional development of ambassador programs.
  • Exceptional ability to provide a warm, responsive, and professional experience for all constituents, ensuring every interaction reflects the school’s mission and values.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with feeder schools, community partners, and institutional stakeholders.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive admissions and financial aid information.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish is highly valued.
