Job description

Director/Associate Director, Thought Leader Engagement - Head & Neck Oncology
  • Develop and lead national thought leader engagement strategy for pre-launch and potential launch of petosemtamab.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Head & Neck Oncology KOLs, Medical Experts, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor clinical/scientific/market trends impacting petosemtamab adoption.
  • Serve as primary Genmab contact for key external influencers.
  • Plan and execute engagement at major oncology/Head & Neck congresses and conferences.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate the petosemtamab speaker bureau per policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver a KYSO customer experience via a coordinated One Genmab model across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access.
  • Gather and synthesize insights to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and customer engagement.
  • Establish processes to share field insights cross-functionally.
  • Lead initiatives, manage priorities/timelines, agency partners, and budgets; ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years (Director) or 8+ years (Associate Director) in pharma/biotech.
  • Significant oncology experience in customer-facing functions (marketing, sales, account mgmt, thought leader engagement, medical affairs, etc.).
  • Demonstrated KOL/ME relationship building; ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.
  • Knowledge of oncology commercialization and customer engagement; lead cross-functional work without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication/presentation; legal/regulatory/compliance understanding.
  • Ability to travel ~50-60%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA/MS/PharmD/PhD or relevant graduate degree.
  • Head & Neck Oncology experience (incl. head and neck squamous cell carcinoma).
  • Established KOL/ME relationships; thought leader engagement/lialson experience.
  • Oncology launch/pre-launch, speaker/advisory board/congress program experience; experience in emerging biotech.
