Position: Regional Human Resource Director

Are you a passionate HR leader looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? Eden Senior Care is seeking a Regional Director of Human Resources to oversee and support HR operations across multiple facilities within our growing network. This role is pivotal in ensuring best practices, compliance, and an exemplary employee experience across our locations.


Location: Preferably candidates based in Minnesota. However, we remain open to strong candidates from other regions.

Setting and travel requirement: This role will be primarily remote, with occasional travel to facilities as needed and potential visits to the corporate office. While most responsibilities can be managed remotely, on‑site presence may be required at a facility when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational HR Leadership:

  • Guide and support local HR teams on onboarding, compliance, benefits, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

  • Support and oversee HR-related audits by government agencies or third-party auditors.
  • Provide training and mentorship to local HR representatives to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Assist in managing HR-related concerns, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Travel to facilities as needed to provide hands-on support, training, and compliance audits.

Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Lead efforts to improve HR processes, streamline workflows, and enhance employee retention.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR policies and initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure HR strategies remain effective and compliant.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to enhance leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Provide insight on organizational HR challenges and recommend solutions to improve employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of multi‑site or regional leadership experience required.
  • At least 2 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare. 
  • 5–7 years of overall Human Resources experience
  • Willingness to travel to various facilities as needed.
  • SHRM and/or PHR certification and senior living experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HRIS experience is required to streamline HR operations and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop HR professionals.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
