Job description

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an Associate Director, Product Marketing, ICHRA to join our Product Marketing Team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

The Associate Director, Product Marketing (ICHRA) executes the end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) activities and localized launch campaigns for Oscar's Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) business. Operating with a balance of 70% execution focus and 30% tactical strategy, you will translate insurance plan design and technical digital features into clear messaging frameworks and multi-audience sales enablement assets. The Associate Director coordinates daily operations across Product Management, Sales Strategy, Creative, and Legal teams to accelerate broker adoption and member enrollment. Working under general direction, you will manage execution timelines, leads product feature rollouts, and track key performance indicators to scale Oscar's commercial B2B motion footprint.

You will report into the Senior Director, Product Marketing.

Work Location: This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $147,549 - $193,658 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • GTM Campaign Strategy & Positioning Architecture: Own the translation of technical plan features and regulatory structures into core value propositions and strategic positioning frameworks. Architect the Modular Messaging Banks and value narratives specifically tailored to separate high-priority audiences (brokers, employers, and employees). Run localized launch strategies and lead-nurture campaign mechanics to drive awareness and preference in targeted expansion regions.
  • Sales Enablement and Distribution Coordination: Train, support, and equip internal sales teams, broker networks, and general agencies (GAs) with updated materials for quoting engines and decision-support platforms. Gather regional broker feedback to optimize day-to-day conversion deltas.
  • Cross-Functional Launch Management: Project manage day-to-day product lifecycles and county expansions. Act as the primary interface between Product and Sales to organize feature updates, compliance filings, and workflow timelines ahead of high-volume Open Enrollment (OE) cycles.
  • Performance Analytics and Optimization: Track, synthesize, and report on core campaign metrics, including quote volumes, web tool adoption, and member registration deltas. Use data to troubleshoot execution blockers and improve channel performance.
  • Compliance & Operations: Maintain total brand integrity and adherence to state healthcare regulations by routing all customer-facing documentation through Legal and Compliance reviews. Ensure all claims match regulatory parameters.Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in product marketing, brand strategy, B2B enablement, or growth marketing within a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience leading GTM campaign execution specifically for health insurance, FinTech, or digital consumer health products. Track record managing project timelines and creative assets under strict deadlines.

Bonus points:

  • Experience supporting B2B broker networks or employer benefit administration platforms. Direct experience working inside a health insurance carrier (Payer) or digital healthcare startup.
  • Understanding of health insurance plan structures, quoting engines, or ICHRA reimbursement guidelines. Familiarity with MarTech technology.
