Job description

Piper Companies is seeking an influential and innovative Head of Global Advanced Analytics to join the Global Integrated Insights and Analytics Team of a well-established global biopharmaceutical company focused on transforming the lives of patients and families living with diseases in the neurology and immunology areas.

This role is focused on developing predictive models for the commercial assessment and viability of pre-candidate pharma assets within the organization's Global Advanced Analytics Engine.

This is a remote opportunity and candidates must reside in Eastern Standard Time Zone.

Responsibilities of the Head of Global Advanced Analytics:

  • Drive early patient solutions strategic objectives by supporting fact-based decision making through data and analytics projects.
  • Ensure the advanced analytics function is involved in the right discussions with the right stakeholders.
  • Evolve the adoption and usage of secondary data and advanced analytics, demonstrating its impact.
  • Translate business questions into tangible solutions and outcomes.
  • Foster the ideation and creation of new analytics capabilities and models.
  • Lead a team of up to eight direct reports.
  • Collaborate with teams including new product planning, real world evidence, translational medicine, clinical trial operations and recruitment, and clinical strategy teams.

Qualifications of the Head of Global Advanced Analytics:

  • Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in a quantitative area preferred; Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience with advanced analytics in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Must have experience assessing the commercial viability of pre-candidate pharma assets.
  • Strong experience in early patient solutions within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to interpret predictive model results and identify potential model errors.
  • Creativity in solving business questions using disparate data sets.

Compensation of the Head of Global Advanced Analytics:

  • Base salary range of $200,000/year - $230,000/year based on experience.
  • Annual bonus and internal equity benefits.
  • Comprehensive Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, & Holidays.
