Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Digital Platform Engineer.


This position is under consideration to work fully remote.


Description:


The Digital Platform Manager is responsible for executing on the strategic direction, administration, support, and enhancements of the bank's digital banking platforms, including online banking, mobile banking, payments, treasury management, and associated customer-facing technologies. The Digital Platform Manager will manage and provide direction for the digital banking analyst and support team members who are responsible for the ongoing administration and support of the applications, as well as understanding how the platform integrates with other applicable systems and processes. Works closely with business leaders, technology teams, risk partners, and third-party vendors to deliver secure, compliant, and customer-centric digital banking experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the digital banking platform roadmap with input from strategic business partners and stakeholders.
  • Serves as technical owner for online and mobile banking solutions.
  • Prioritize and manage enhancement requests.
  • Lead vendor relationships and contract performance reviews.
  • Coordinate platform upgrades, testing, and releases.
  • Partner with Information Security and Compliance on risk management activities.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses for digital initiatives.
  • Support Treasury Management and Retail Banking digital strategies.
  • Report on KPIs and digital performance metrics to leadership.
  • Ensure platform availability, reliability, and service quality.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Lead and manage employees within the Digital Platform Team ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests, as well as execution of new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Reports to the Enterprise Application Delivery Director within the Information Technology team supporting business and customer-facing applications.
  • Responsible for supporting IT Response, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery processes as they pertain to the continuity of operations within IT Services Division, or to support continuity of operations for the enterprise when IT Services are essential to support restoration or recovery activities.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining systems and applications in alignment with SBNA security controls and standards related to protecting sensitive data for compliance with Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA)
  • Responsible for adhering to Software Development Lifecycle policies, standards, and processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring all new assets owned by the employee are identified in the CMDB with complete configuration item data. Assets owned must be maintained to adhere with all Asset Management Policy, Standards, Processes and work instructions.
  • Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.


Education / Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of previous banking experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Digital Banking products, Treasury Management, and Product Management, especially in the commercial banking industry.
  • Experience in managing and leading support teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of payment solutions, CTP or AAP certifications is a plus
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.


Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
