The Role:
At Vivmark Residential, we create communities that people are proud to call home. We're looking for a Development Manager to help lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multifamily and mixed-use development projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for a real estate professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing complex projects to life.
The Role:
As a Development Manager, you will play a key role in managing all phases of the development process, including site evaluation, financial analysis, entitlement, design coordination, consultant management, and project execution. You'll work closely with internal partners and external stakeholders to move projects forward while balancing risk, schedule, budget, and long-term value creation.
What You'll Do:
Drive Development Projects
  • Manage multifamily and mixed-use development projects through planning, entitlement, design, and execution
  • Prepare and maintain project financial models, pro formas, and investment analyses
  • Evaluate market, environmental, engineering, and land use studies to support development decisions
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee project-related contracts
  • Prepare project updates and presentations for senior leadership and investment committees
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure projects align with company standards and objectives

Build Strategic Relationships
  • Cultivate relationships with municipalities, consultants, brokers, landowners, and industry partners
  • Represent Vivmark in meetings with community stakeholders and business partners
  • Support business development activities and identify new investment opportunities

Lead Consultants and Team Coordination
  • Manage consultant selection processes and negotiate service agreements
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, land planners, environmental consultants, and other project partners
  • Facilitate cross-functional project meetings, track milestones, and help resolve issues that impact project delivery

Support New Development Opportunities
  • Conduct market research, demographic analysis, and feasibility studies
  • Participate in site evaluations, acquisition due diligence, and investment reviews
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing strategic development opportunities in target markets

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA with a Real Estate concentration or Master's in Real Estate Development preferred
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in real estate development, construction, finance, investments, operations, design, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholders and disciplines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations to senior leaders and business partners
  • Real estate industry certifications such as LEED are a plus
