Lateral Associate

Real Estate Development and Investments

Winstead PC is seeking 3 - 6 year associates for a position with our Real Estate Development and Investments group in Dallas. This attorney will primarily work on matters associated with complex real estate transactions including the acquisition, disposition, financing, structuring and development of mixed-use and other commercial real estate assets located throughout the United States. The position is a growth position with opportunities for advancement within the firm, and is within a collaborative and interactive practice in our Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Real Estate Transactions: Experience with the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of commercial real estate.

Borrower Side Loan Experience: Experience in loan document negotiations and closing process.

Joint Venture Experience: Experience in joint venture transactions

Development Experience: Experience representing developers and equity investors in all stages of development and construction of a variety of projects.

Strong academics: Candidates should have strong academic credentials.

Writing skills: Candidates should be proficient at complex legal drafting and client communication.
