Job description

Role Summary
This senior-level position leads strategic business development efforts for NBCx within an assigned region, driving significant net new sales growth and expanding client relationships across SSR service offerings. The role operates with a high degree of independence, leading complex pursuits, developing pricing strategies, and aligning cross-discipline teams to win and deliver high-value opportunities.
What You'll Do
Drive regional growth and client engagement through strategic business development leadership.
  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales goals
  • Identify client needs and position integrated SSR services, including NBCx, MEP, MBCx, and BES
  • Lead complex fee development, labor planning, and pricing using NBCx estimating tools
  • Direct high-profile RFQ/RFP pursuits, including strategy, proposal development, and interview preparation
  • Build and maintain executive-level client and partner relationships
  • Lead client presentations and high-impact business development discussions
  • Collaborate across business units to drive cross-selling and multi-discipline pursuits
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and opportunities to inform growth strategy
  • Mentor junior business development staff and support team capability development
  • Enhance business development processes, tools, and standards
  • Coordinate with leadership to align BD strategy with organizational goals
  • Ensure quality and consistency of proposals and marketing materials
  • Facilitate pursuit strategy meetings and regional planning discussions
  • Support account planning and long-term client growth strategies
  • Represent SSR at industry events to strengthen market presence
  • Manage CRM data and reporting for forecasting and planning
  • Achieve senior-level performance targets and net new sales goals

Who We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success leading complex A/E services pursuits and winning high-value projects
  • Experience with NBCx services and integrated engineering solutions
  • Strong understanding of proposal strategy, pricing, and contract development
  • Advanced client relationship management and executive communication skills
  • Experience mentoring and developing business development professionals
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies
  • Strong presentation and negotiation capabilities
