Reporting to the Director of Strategy for NA, this role is a leader in both strategy development and strategy execution for KC's North America business. The Associate Director is expected to independently partner with business teams in strategy development projects across a range of situations, including full business strategies for select categories as well as functional specific strategies, playbooks, and operating plans.

About You

Job responsibilities include:

  • Guide end-to-end strategy development as a partner to business leaders and make adjustments to existing strategies based upon new learning and changes in the competitive environment

  • Own thought leadership for business problem definition, project scoping, analytical approach and work-planning

  • Direct and directly execute data analysis for delivery of strategic projects including financial modeling and insight analysis on large, complex data sets

  • Interpret results from multiple project components and translate these finding into clear and compelling recommendations and solutions.

  • Conduct interviews, lead brainstorming sessions, find critical business information, and help business leaders develop innovative approaches to their business.

  • Add personal insight, galvanize discussion and debate across the organization on key strategic issues, generating ideas and creative frameworks, and use a combination of facts, judgment, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.

  • Take ownership for Program Design, Implementation and Change Management on select projects critical to our business strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • MBA from top-tier business school highly preferred

  • 7+ years of business experience in strategy consulting, related business analysis, functional line experience within strategy, marketing, finance, operations, or sales analytics with a history of demonstrated business success.

  • 3+ years of consulting experience with one of the blue-chip strategy consulting firms (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, etc.) or comparable strategy consulting firm / function.

  • Additional industry experience in a consumer-oriented (CPG, retail) company in strategy development, finance, marketing, or other role with strategic content highly preferred.

Salary Range: 173,400 - 214,200 USDAt Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
