We are seeking a Developer Engineer & Analyst - Purchase Experience, Unqork to support a strategic value stream focused on simplifying and enhancing how customers explore, apply for, and purchase life insurance.
This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, UX, and engineering by translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. In addition to leading technical analysis activities, the Technical Analyst will configure and maintain solutions on the Unqork no-code platform, helping accelerate delivery while ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with enterprise standards.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and communication skills with hands-on experience configuring digital solutions. This individual is curious, collaborative, comfortable working through ambiguity, and enjoys solving complex business and technical problems.

What You'll Do:Technical Analysis & Solution Design
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Architecture, Engineering, and business stakeholders to define and document technical requirements supporting the end-to-end digital purchase experience.
  • Analyze business processes, customer journeys, and system interactions to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, automation, and customer experience.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical documentation, process flows, and solution designs.
  • Analyze and map business and policy data into structured formats (XML, JSON, ACORD standards where applicable) to support integrations across enterprise systems.
  • Define and maintain integration specifications between digital applications, underwriting platforms, CRM systems, policy administration systems, and third-party partners.
  • Conduct impact assessments for new features, enhancements, and system changes across the Purchase Experience ecosystem.
  • Partner with development teams throughout delivery to clarify requirements, resolve questions, and validate solutions.
  • Support integration testing, defect triage, and root cause analysis during implementation and release activities.
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and ambiguities, driving resolution through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve documentation, analysis, and collaboration efficiency.
Unqork Configuration
  • Configure and maintain business applications using the Unqork no-code platform.
  • Translate approved business requirements into scalable Unqork configurations using reusable components, business rules, workflows, and data models.
  • Collaborate with developers and solution architects to implement configuration changes aligned with enterprise architecture and platform best practices.
  • Perform unit testing and configuration validation to ensure solutions meet functional and quality expectations.
  • Support production implementations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements of existing Unqork applications.
  • Maintain documentation for configured solutions, reusable components, and business rules.
  • Stay current with Unqork platform capabilities and recommend enhancements that improve scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between business, product, UX, and technology teams.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives by coordinating across teams, removing blockers, and driving work to completion.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts involving data quality, integration patterns, governance, delivery processes, and platform best practices.
  • Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical analysis, business systems analysis, solution analysis, or related technology roles.
  • Experience documenting business requirements, technical specifications, process flows, and system integrations.
  • Experience working with APIs, JSON, XML, and system integration concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting Agile and/or SAFe software delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience configuring applications using the Unqork platform.
  • Unqork Associate or Professional Certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience with life insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with ACORD standards and insurance data models.
  • Experience with digital customer acquisition, underwriting, policy administration, or customer onboarding platforms.
  • Experience reading API documentation and supporting integration design.
  • Exposure to other no-code/low-code platforms such as Appian, Pega, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and data profiling techniques.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:ย $81,000-$115,500ย

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
