As a senior member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting business-critical applications that span mainframe and distributed platforms. You will contribute to solution architecture, influence technical design decisions, and partner with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions aligned with enterprise technology strategies.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on development experience in mainframe technologies while demonstrating the ability and willingness to learn emerging technologies, cloud-native platforms, AI-enabled development tools, and full-stack engineering practices. What You'll Do:

Application Development & Engineering

Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications supporting critical business capabilities.

Develop and support solutions utilizing PL1, ASM, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ, and other mainframe technologies.

Develop and support solutions utilizing Angular/.net, CICS API, Mulesoft, Lambda, Python, AWS technologies

Participate in the development of APIs, services, and integration solutions that expose mainframe functionality to modern digital platforms.

Contribute to full-stack application development efforts, including user interfaces, middleware services, APIs, and backend systems.

Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.

Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, security, maintainability, and scalability.

Solution Architecture & Technical Design

Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to end-to-end solution designs.

Full-Stack & Cross-Platform Engineering

Contribute to web-based application development using modern frameworks and engineering practices.

Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver end-to-end business capabilities.

DevOps, Automation & Quality Engineering

7+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications on IBM Mainframe platforms.

Experience with Angular/.net, CICS API, Mulesoft, Lambda, Python & AWS technologies

Experience participating in technical design and solution architecture discussions.

Knowledge of software engineering principles, application lifecycle management, and SDLC best practices.

Experience with API-based integrations and distributed system architectures.

Understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
