Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will support the design process by developing concepts, creating detailed drawings and assisting with project development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in design, along with technical skills that facilitate seamless collaboration across various stages of the design lifecycle. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment focused on innovative design.

Duties
  • Help prepare for and participate in client meetings to understand client needs and project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including elevations, floor plans, construction documents and material specifications.
  • Select and document materials, finishes, fixtures and furnishings based on project requirements and budget.
  • Provide guidance on design trends, functionality and practicality to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and addressing design-related challenges that may arise.
Associate Designer Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in Chief Architect (or similar)
  • Skilled in selecting and documenting materials, finishes, fixtures and furnishings based on project requirements and budget
  • Experience preparing detailed documentation, including elevations, floor plans, construction documents and material specifications
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
