What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Designer at Peter Basso Associates, you’ll join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets - education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You'll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, qualifications or education:

  • Associate's degree or studies toward a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related curriculum from an accredited institution.
  • Requires Minimum 5 years' experience designing commercial building systems.
  • Passed the Fundamental of Engineering exam, PE preferred.
  • Ability to work together with the project manager, discipline lead engineer and all team members on assigned engineering tasks assuring technical expectations, schedule and manpower budgets are met.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of all the disciplines aspect of design for project coordination and their impact on the project.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Team-oriented decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
