What You'll Do
  • Create 2D and 3D mechanical layouts, sketches, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Interpret schematics, specifications, and engineering drawings to develop complete system designs.
  • Support the design of paint finishing equipment, mechanical layouts, piping, and related components.
  • Identify design challenges and develop practical technical solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with engineering and estimating teams.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and customers throughout the design process.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, distribution, and document archives.
  • Support project schedules and complete design deliverables on time.
  • Visit customer sites to collect field measurements and verify existing conditions.
  • Travel approximately 20%.
