Are you ready to jump-start your career in geotechnical engineering with a dynamic team? We are looking for a motivated Geotechnical Design Engineer Technician with a bachelor's degree in geotechnical or civil engineering to join our team in our Jackson, WY location. If youโ€™re excited to dive into hands-on work, tackle diverse challenges, and contribute to impactful projects, this is the opportunity for you.


What You'll Do

  • Assist senior-level engineers in analysis and design related to shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, seepage, bearing capacity, settlement, earth retention, and earthen embankment dams.
  • Perform field work such as construction observation, subsurface investigations, materials testing, and inspections during construction.
  • Record detailed geotechnical subsurface exploration data according to the firmโ€™s standard procedures.
  • Assist the geotechnical team in performing engineering analyses and in the preparation of technical memoranda and geotechnical engineering reports.
  • Production of deliverables is expected to be on time, within budget, and of the highest quality, in accordance with firm standards.
