Job description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach and supervise high school students at varying academic levels, both in academic and performance skills, to prepare them for either college or entry-level work in the Emerging Energy field.

  • Experience with the fundamentals of technical support including ~ Solar Panels ~ Lithium-Ion Battery production ~ Battery Cell ~ Micro Soldering ~ Clean Energy ~ Battery Cell Technology
  • Instruction will include integrated academics in English, Math, and Science.
  • Implement inquiry-based learning projects
  • Implement project-based Learning
  • Prepare students for co-ops and job shadows in the field

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • NYS Certification as an Electrical Electronic Technology CTE Teacher OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 1 year of field experience in Electrical Electronic Maintenance and repair OR
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of field experience in Electrical Electronic Maintenance and repair OR
  • High school diploma and 4 years of field experience as stated above
