Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must reside in the state of Ohio.
  • A baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Candidates with a master's degree in Nursing will be given preference. Current active unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio. Experience of a least two years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. Recent clinical experience required. Requires current certification of Basic Life Support. Requires successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.
  • Willingness to teach and communicate using a variety of instructional modes, email and online learning management systems.
  • Commitment to meeting students' learning needs and empowering students in their learning endeavors.
  • Personal and educational philosophy compatible with the mission, values, goals, and objectives of Central Ohio Technical College.
  • Requires successful completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous teaching experience and experience with curriculum development and assessment.
