This educator will deliver engaging, standards-based math instruction that strengthens foundational skills, promotes critical thinking, and develops confident problem-solvers. Through differentiated instruction and purposeful assessment, the teacher will challenge students to reach their full potential while supporting diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will cultivate perseverance, intellectual curiosity, and personal responsibility in alignment with the mission of Catholic education.
The Middle School Math Teacher will intentionally integrate faith into classroom culture—modeling Gospel values, fostering respect and integrity, and helping students recognize the order, beauty, and logic inherent in mathematics as part of God’s creation. Creating a structured, positive, and collaborative classroom environment is essential.
Strong communication and partnership with families are expected, along with active collaboration with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and the overall spiritual life of the school community. Participation in school liturgies, prayer, service initiatives, and faculty faith formation is an integral part of the role.
Plan and deliver effective math instruction aligned with curriculum standards and school goals.
Teach assigned mathematics courses appropriate to the grade level and program.
Develop lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Create and maintain a classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active learning.
Integrate instructional technology, hands-on activities, and real-world applications into lessons.
