Job description

Position Summary
The Senior Data Analytics Developer will play a crucial role in ensuring relevant, timely, and actionable business integrations for Living Spaces. They will take charge of designing, testing, and maintaining data integration, data transformation, and data quality processes while maximizing efficient use of Living Spaces data across teams and platforms.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Architect, build, and launch intuitive data models that provide actionable insights for stakeholders across Living Spaces.
  • Determine the optimal data architecture to ensure seamless data integration, distribution, and analysis for Living Spaces' business data domains, including Marketing, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Support, and more.
  • Build highly efficient and reliable data pipelines to move large and small data amounts from Living Spaces' Data Warehouse/Retail Systems to downstream databases and data marts for analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain complex integrations from external cloud sources to internal systems using a variety of tools and platforms.
  • Use multiple cloud-based API's to establish data connections and ensure their security and integrity.
  • Work across multiple teams in high visibility roles and own the solution end-to-end.
  • Organize, mine, and analyze massive structured and unstructured data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that assist in making critical decisions for Living Spaces.
  • Develop and optimize the business metrics data layer for scalability, reliability, and resilience.
  • Translate algorithms (graph theory, Map/Reduce, recursion, and other areas) into working prototype code effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop strategies to extract, resolve, and unify information from various disparate data sources to ensure cohesive integration with external business applications.
  • Create algorithms and heuristics to extract information from large data sets and implement the resulting algorithms in software/scripts.
  • Be a thought - leader in analytics/data science with respect to entity resolution as it pertains to Living Spaces business goals.
  • Explore data in an unstructured environment and discover meaningful trends that drive business value for Living Spaces.
  • Use SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to build high-performance data integration solutions, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) packages for data warehousing.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) in computer science or engineering or related field, along with 5+ years of diverse experience in designing innovative data solutions for business analytics. They should also have proven experience in managing workflows from architecture to delivery in an Agile framework. Additional knowledge of different database technologies beyond RDBMS, vendor/solution capabilities in data management and reporting/analytics - data federation, big data, data quality, Business Intelligence, etc., and writing complex SQL queries in a data warehouse environment. They should also have experience BI and dashboarding/reporting tools, including Tableau, Alteryx, etc. The equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Computer Skills: The candidate must have advanced proficiency in expert coding skills across several languages and cutting-edge technologies, including SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and .NET/C# framework. Being knowledgeable in XML, Dynamics AX 2012, Dynamics CRM, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Data Lake and Data Warehouse migration skills will be a plus.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $109,575.00 - $146,100.00
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
