Job Description: Principal, Business Consulting -Solution Architect
The vision of the Data &Analytics team is to help our clients become Data/Analytics/Insights driven. Principal is a key member of the team expected to help deliver the vision. You will define, prioritize and manage data product roadmaps while providing technical leadership and solution architecture guidance. We are seeking experienced Management Consultants with a background in Solution Architecture to join us.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Primary responsibility is to deliver client programs related to helping the clients become Data/Analytics/Insights driven.
  • Define and manage the roadmap for data products, analytics platforms and data services
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and solution designs.
  • Prioritize features and improvements to maximize business impact while balancing technical feasibility.
  • Create overall solution for cloud-based end-to-end data analytics platform. It will include providing current state data ecosystem assessments, future state architecture definitions, drive tools and capability evaluations for the client, data modernization implementations etc.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, data quality, scalability and security are followed.
  • Be an expert in your respective domain and contribute to advancing Infosys Consulting's thought leadership in the industry.
  • Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions and executive presentations.
  • Lead and manage a team of consultants for client deliverables.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Work effectively with Client and Infosys teams

Practice Development
  • Help with recruitment, training and retention
  • Create Proposals for sales pursuits with low level of supervision.

Background experience needed:
  • Experience working across multiple industries: Banking, Insurance, Financial services, Retail, Manufacturing etc.)
  • Experience defining data product roadmaps and managing backlogs
  • Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum delivery frameworks
  • Exposure to key disciplines of Data and Information Management: Governance, Data Quality, Data Architecture, Master Data, Security, Regulatory Compliance, Business Intelligence...
  • A good mix of the following skills:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience with 3 years of experience in Management Consulting.
  • Ability to travel 4-5 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.
