Job Purpose

The position acts as an important project and process liaison between global teams and regional stakeholders (USA).

Main responsibilities for this position are:

  • Consulting and requirements engineering with and for key stakeholders within USA & North America.
  • Project Management, consulting and development for global Data & Analytics projects with focus on North America
  • Close collaboration with global ERP members and partial support for ERP projects
  • Translation of processes, governance and requirements between global Competence Center Data & Analytics and North America business members
  • Development, Consulting and supporting projects within the global GCC Data & Analytics
  • Align regional requirements with global strategy

The position must be responsible and empowered to translate and ensure project governance and guidelines into North America (NA) SBU. Position will gather requirements and perform active stakeholder management within the SBU NA and also supporting global projects.


Position will be part of the Global Competence Center (GCC) and report directly into Team Leader of Data & Analytics.

Overall, the role is not purely technical but a key business-facing position, requiring strong regional presence to ensure adoption, governance, and long-term success

Responsibilities

  • Consulting: Consulting within projects and translation from business processes and expectations into clear IT as well as Data & Analytics requirement.
  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate closely with several business stakeholders in various departments to optimize processes, enhance efficiency of data & reporting solutions.
  • Standardization: Ensure Data & Analytics standardization of reporting solutions, data platforms and governance within the KOKI group with a special focus on SBU North America
  • Customer focus: Focus and understanding of our internal customers and their processes is a key competence
  • Implementation and Optimization: Active development support within KOKI's data and reporting solution. Discover potential, and ongoing improvement of the solutions and tools for Data & Analytics across all business units.
  • Project Management: Target orientated project management of various local and global Data & Analytics projects, following KOKI IT project management guidelines and IT strategy
  • Collaboration with stakeholders: Close collaboration and engagement with business stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Strong and close collaboration is needed with the GCC ERP
  • Enables effective consulting, training, and adoption of modern technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, AI) within the regional business community
  • Ensures compliance with US-specific data privacy regulations and effective integration of local and external data sources
  • Acts as a key resource partnerfor local business analysts, combining deep understanding of regional requirements with detailed knowledge of the global data platform and its available data assets
  • Provides deep understanding of local business processes and ensures they are properly reflected in global data models and solutions
  • Provides direct and timelyhands-on support for local applications and business process needs.
  • Strengthens the global "follow-the-sun" support model across Japan, India (GCC), Europe, and North America
  • Aligns with the global Data & Analytics strategy to standardize reporting, improve governance, and transition from local to global solutions

Position Requirements/Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the area of Data & Analytics
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of reporting and data systems, with modern data platforms, especially Snowflake and reporting solutions like Power BI. Also, well versed in SQL / Data Modeling.
    • Proven experience in extraction, transformation, harmonization and loading of data from various source systems into Data Lakehouse solutions.
    • Experience in data modelling and cloud data architecture like medallion concepts.
      Expert in the evaluation and recommendation of technical solutions. Prior experience in consulting or ERP analytics is a plus.
    • Deep understanding of programming languages like Python combined with an AI driven mindset
  • Project Management Expertise: Experienced in Project Management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid). Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with focus on clarity.
  • Multinational Team Experience: Successfully collaborate with diverse, international teams and facilitate alignment to ensure that technical outputs (like dashboards, data models, and reports) truly meet business goals.
  • Business Trips: Willingness to travel up to 10% for global engagements.
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies within the context of business processes.
  • Team Player: A collaborative and team-oriented approach, combined with hands on mentality with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and individuals at all levels of the global KOKI organization.
