Associate Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary:
The Associate Manufacturing Engineer applies engineering principles to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and support new product introductions. This role uses independent judgment and problem-solving skills to design efficient manufacturing processes, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires intellectual, professional work that contributes to engineering solutions and process improvements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop, maintain, and improve assembly and production processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Analyze manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, process standardization, and error reduction.
  • Translate engineered designs into manufacturable assemblies using engineering principles and advanced knowledge of materials, tooling, and equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance to production and assembly personnel regarding proper use of tools, equipment, and methods.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on manufacturability, cost, and process feasibility.
  • Apply engineering principles to resolve production issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, routings, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, procurement, and operations teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment, tools, and fixtures to optimize production processes.
