Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our Herndon, VA office. This position is ideal for attorneys with at least 3 years of experience who have technical background in computer engineering.


This position is based in the Firm's Herndon, Virginia office, and candidates must be able to work from this location in accordance with Firm's hybrid work schedule.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze newly assigned and existing matters, ensuring effective legal representation from initiation to conclusion.
  • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents in accordance with Firm procedures.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using all available resources, including legal databases and libraries.
  • Provide well-founded legal opinions and strategic counsel to clients.
  • Conduct negotiations, where appropriate, to effectively resolve client matters.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the DC and/or VA state bar.
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in Computer Engineering (required).
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
