Job Description
The Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing Department, at Weber State University, seeks innovative and enthusiastic faculty who have a passion for nursing and nursing education. This is a 12-month tenure-track faculty position.
Job Duties
Teaching assignments are contingent upon qualifications and experience. Selected candidates will teach in the Associate Degree Nursing program. In addition, selected candidates may teach in a variety of modalities (face to face, online, lab, simulation, and/or clinical) and at various campus locations. All faculty are required to plan, implement, and elevate the existing curriculum.
Required Qualifications
Required:
  • Master of Science in Nursing. Must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program (or related/equivalent)
  • Active, unencumbered state of Utah or compact state registered nurse or advanced practice registered nurse license
  • Basic technology skills

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
  • Doctorate degree in nursing or related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to integrate technology in nursing education.
  • Previous experience as a nurse educator.
  • Teaching experience in higher education.
  • Clinical nursing experience in related areas of teaching.
  • Demonstrated scholarship activities.
  • Authored publications in peer-reviewed journals.
