Entry-level DBAs with skills in SQL, database management systems, and certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate are sought after, especially in industries with large data needs. The role often requires knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures, and job growth is expected to continue as data-driven decision-making expands.
