Job Title: Database Administrator Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: Join our team as a Database Administrator to support the Software Engineering Environment (SE2) and its associated databases. You will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and securing our database systems, while providing critical support to software developers. Hybrid work environment.

Work 2 days onsite and 3 days remotely each week. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases for the SE2 environment Ensure database performance, integrity, security, and availability Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures Collaborate with software developers to support their database needs Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise Work with IIS and ColdFusion Implement and maintain SQL STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) for database security Provide critical support to software developers in managing SQL databases Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices Qualifications: Required: An active DoD Secret clearance.
