Position Summary:
The Associate Security Analyst will monitor Gordon Food Service's Information Systems environment for cyber-security related events, anomalies, and malicious activities. They will triage, respond, and escalate appropriately as needed. They will also lead in process improvement and implementation of cyber-security and forensics solutions.
What you will do:
  • Monitor the cyber-security environment
  • Respond to cyber-security alerts & events
  • Evaluate risk of cyber-security events
  • Triage cyber-security alerts & events then escalate as needed
  • Build rule sets for cyber-security incident and event monitoring solution
  • Monitor cyber-security intelligence feeds for indicators of compromise
  • Participation in incident response
  • Experience in other related information technology domains
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

When you will work:
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Hybrid schedule, 4 days in office, with 1 day remote

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Security+, Network+, GIAC or CEH certifications preferred.
  • One to three years previous related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Must have good customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, and reference established precedents and policies.
  • Knowledge of investigative theory practices
  • Knowledge of cyber-security system design tools, methods, and techniques
