The Opportunity: This position supports the Head of LCA EGP providing legal advice and directly handling negotiations and relationships with Tax Partners.

What You'll Do at Enel North America:

  • Be fluent in all legal aspects of energy advisory/consulting services.
  • Partner with corporate, finance, operations and other teams to ensure that legal needs are adequately met.
  • Assist on any matter related to Tax Partnership leading, from a legal standpoint, new deals (including drafting and negotiation of ancillary agreements and documents), buy-out transactions, amendments to the agreements actually in place, day by day advisory activity related to various aspects of renewable energy business.
  • Advise management and relevant internal functions involved on a wide range of legal issues, such as corporate law, compliance, contracts, litigation, insurance, and finance issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive law strategies to help minimize litigation, third party disputes and other potential legal and business problems and issues.
  • Provide direction to functional groups with respect to legal issues and risks.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on occasion.
  • Ability to read and speak Italian or Spanish is a plus but not an essential requisite.
