Job description

The Customer Service Associate/Crew Member (CSA) supports the store management team in daily operations, including customer service, cashiering, stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness. The associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring efficient and compliant store operations.

Principal Duties

Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to requests, providing product information, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience

Operate the point of sale, process transactions accurately (cash, credit, and other payment methods), issue receipts, provide correct change, and handle refunds as needed

Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and company policies by verifying valid identification for age-restricted purchases (tobacco, alcohol) and refusing sales when requirements are not met

Maintain proper cash levels by counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts and ensuring accuracy of all transactions

Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety across all areas including sales floor, counters, and outdoor spaces

Replenish products and supplies, stock shelves with proper pricing, monitor inventory levels, and ensure product rotation

Resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner and communicate issues to management when needed

Maintain accurate transaction records and follow company procedures for basic reporting and documentation

Communicate customer feedback, operational issues, and vendor concerns to management

Perform additional duties as assigned by store management

Store Operations & Support

Receive, transport, and stock inventory, including working in cooler or storage areas as required

Monitor and maintain beverage and coffee stations, ensuring supplies are stocked and areas are clean

Perform general housekeeping, including trash removal, cleaning spills, and maintaining safe store conditions

Assist with inventory processes, basic reporting, and vendor check-ins

Operate store equipment such as registers, scanners, and trash or cardboard compactors as needed

Adapt to varying store conditions, including temperature changes and high-traffic environments

Fuel Station Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel area

Perform basic visual checks of fuel equipment and report any issues

Support safe handling and cleanup of fuel or oil spills in accordance with safety guidelines
