SCHEDULE *Full Time/40hours*

11:30am-8:00pm

*Rotating weekends

WORK LOCATION

Arnett Hospital

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare trays on cold side. 
  • Assists team in running the expo line. 
  • Check food temps every 2 hours, ensures products are prepped, labeled and dated properly. 
  • Stock items as needed and occasionally transport food to the patients and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. 
  • Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. 
  • Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. 
  • Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
  • No experience required. Prior food service experience is preferred.
  • Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
  • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders.
  • Physical requirements to include reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
