A professional legal services firm in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney for a direct hire opportunity focused on Estate Planning and Estate Administration. This role is ideal for an attorney with 1-2 years of legal experience who enjoys advising individuals and families, managing meaningful client matters, and providing practical legal guidance during important life and financial planning decisions.
The Associate Attorney will join a supportive, client-focused legal environment that values collaboration, responsive communication, strong file management, and high-quality representation. This is a strong opportunity to build a well-rounded trusts and estates practice while working with experienced legal professionals who support development, teamwork, and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies based on family, financial, succession planning, and personal objectives.
- Draft, review, and update Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and related estate planning documents.
- Manage estate administration and probate matters from initial consultation through completion.
- Counsel Executors, Personal Representatives, Trustees, and beneficiaries regarding legal duties, deadlines, documentation, and rights.
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, government agencies, accountants, tax advisors, and other professionals.
- Identify and help resolve estate administration issues involving asset collection, valuation, creditor claims, liabilities, distributions, releases, and related correspondence.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
